Boat Tour of the Angostura Bays
We cruise through the bays of Manzano, Cumelén, and Las Balsas, which form the Angostura arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi. We travel at a slow pace so we can enjoy the scenery, chat with the captain about the area, and take in the view of Angostura from the lake, where we can see the Bayo, Inacayal, and Belvedere hills, among others. At a calm spot on the lake, the boat stops so everyone can share a snack of cheeses and cold cuts.
Arrayanes Forest
We sail across the Angostura channel toward the Arrayanes dock, aiming to arrive when the forest is at their calmest. We disembark so the passengers can begin the tour. The walk through the forest follows an 800-meter circular boardwalk. Once we’ve finished, we reboard the boat and head to a bay on the lake where the boat comes to a stop. It’s time to take in the calm of the lake, and what better way to do so than by sharing a platter of cheeses and cold cuts.
